As the first of our major content updates for Dawn of Defiance, "Sisters of the Deep" overhauled four shrines and the cohesive experience of the Dark Forest, bringing all new challenges & puzzles, boss fights, and legendary weapon and armor rewards. LADY STHENO

Along with her sisters, Stheno has taken over the realm within Athena’s temple wearing a false crown. She wields a sword called Fulgur from which thunder cracks.

Within the Sanctum of Crowns, you must be nimble to take on Euryale. Using her spear Diresong, Euryale devastates her opponents under a poisonous veil and a shower of spikes.

POWERFUL REWARDS

With great risk, comes great reward! "Sisters of the Deep" adds two new weapon tiers, plus inlays you can apply to your gear. Embark on the raid to Athena's Temple and defeat the Gorgon Sisters to earn powerful relics, the first of their type, including the Sisters' unique weapons, empowering crystals, and devastating shards.

NEW ENEMIES

The mythic Satyrs have overran Athena's abandoned temple! As the gates of her temple are opened, they may venture forth into the Dark Forest... There are also a few new fauna types prowling the Crossroads, both in the Dark Forest and beyond.

Raid Puzzles

Within the Temple of Athena, complete mini challenges and lesser boss battles to unlock the sanctums!

Apollo Shrines

To break Apollo's seal, steady your arrow and rapid fire through the lighted targets of his shrine.

Ares Shrines

Wielding one of three weapons, fight in Ares' arenas and slay the mighty bronze boar to break his seal.

Hephaestus Shrines

Complete the light puzzles within the carved crags of the Dark Forest to break Hephaestus' seal on Athena's Shrine.

NEw CHALLENGES

In addition to raid challenges and improvements to the renamed isle of Veilpoint, throughout the Dark Forest  minor shrines dedicated to Apollo, Hephaestus, and Ares' have undergone significant changes!

NEW FACILITY

To create the new, most powerful weapon tier on the Crossroads, you must call upon the gifts of the craftsman! Unlock the new Hephaestus Forge by completing the raid on Athena's Temple.

WEAPONS

ATHENA'S SOLARIUM

A modified version of the Aegis, which allows Athen to weaken foes by simply raising it.

Solarwind - After 5x successful blocks, the next block creates a burst of golden light, parrying all enemies in an 8M Radius.

ARES' IMPETUM

A legendary spear only wielded by Ares as a last resort in combat.

Hellburst - After 5x Light Attacks, it creates an explosion that damages everything within a 5m Radius.

APOLLO'S GOLDEN BOW

A bow forged from Hephaestus' mind, and imbued with Olympic power.

Starshard - After 5x successful hits, your next shot will split into 3 arrows and each will deal 1.5x damage.
